Warranty Conditions
Warranties on our irrigation work are meant to ensure that you can be worry-free about the repair work that we performed. However, these warranties only apply to the work we do. Our standard warranty is a 5-year parts and labor warranty: it covers qualifying defective parts and the labor to repair or replace them under the conditions on this page. It does not unconditionally cover all damages, losses, or every visit to your property. When equipment is installed or work is performed by other sprinkler companies or individuals at or adjacent to the site where we performed our work, the warranty is void.
Warranties are also 100% conditional upon winterization with our company. Because sprinkler winterizations are so essential to the integrity of a sprinkler system in Utah, if a year passes without documented proof of winterization with Storm Sprinklers, the warranty on your product is void. This is true for all products and services under a warranty except for timers/controllers, as these are unaffected by winterization. If you winterize with another company, even with proof, we will not warranty your service as we cannot know if the winterization was performed correctly.
Warranties do not apply to reprogramming of timers. If a homeowner or other party reprograms a timer that we installed, we will not reprogram it for free. Warranties are also void for sprinkler heads if they are damaged by non-natural sources, such as being driven on by a car or having something dropped on them. Warranties only apply to broken or faulty materials and do not apply to sprinkler heads or nozzles that are clogged due to poor filtration infrastructure or maintenance practices.
Services that do not involve failed equipment are also not eligible for a warranty. For example, a service adjusting sprinkler nozzles or a winterization does not fall under any warranty. That being said, we still do our best in performing these services so that they will be long-term solutions. We are committed to always providing the highest possible quality of services to our customers.
If a problem arises in your sprinkler system that is covered by our parts and labor warranty, we will visit the property to inspect and, when appropriate, complete warrantied repair or replacement work at no charge for the covered parts and labor. Service fees may still apply to warranty visits, including but not limited to trip, diagnostic, dispatch, or minimum service charges, unless we expressly waive those fees in writing for a specific visit.
Storm Sprinklers reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any customer at our sole discretion, including customers who would otherwise qualify for warrantied work. Warranty eligibility does not guarantee that we will schedule, perform, or continue service. You can rest assured that our work is always top quality. If our work is ever unsatisfactory, we will do whatever we can to remedy the situation and earn your trust because we are here to stay.
